Thank you for registering for a free trial! We at SimpleZebra are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.  Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.


We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide to us by registering/filling in forms/surveys in relation to  our site (Site) or services. This includes information provided  at the time of registering to use our Site, subscribing to our service, posting material  or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a  competition or promotion sponsored by an advertiser, or when you report a problem  with our Site.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Details of jobs/transactions you carry out through our Site and of the fulfilment of  services.
  • Reviews/blogs posted on the Site rating your services.
  • Details of your visits to our Site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data,  web blogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing  purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
  • Links to Facebook, Bebo, MySpace, Twitter and others social networking sites which  we connect to promote the use of our Site.  


We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us to gather information for example estimate our audience size and usage pattern, to store information about user preferences, to speed up your searches and to recognise you when you return to our Site.

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in the Companies Act 2006.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties: • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may  disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or  assets. • If Simple Zebra Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party,  in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the  transferred assets. • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with  any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our privacy policy and other  agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SimpleZebra, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and  organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.


As detailed above we intend to use your personal data for marketing purposes in connection with the Site and its services.  We will usually inform you if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. If you are unhappy with your data being used for marketing purposes, you can exercise your right to prevent such processing by opting out using tick boxes on relevant forms we use to collect your data.  You can also unsubscribe and exercise the right at any time by contacting us at Our Site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates.  If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.  Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Any access request may be subject to an administrative fee to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.


You are responsible for providing us with true, accurate, current and complete information.

You warrant that you are fully qualified and experienced in relation to the trade services which you have registered to provide and only use suitably qualified staff.

You confirm that you are legally entitled to provide the services you have registered to provide.

Your information and activities on the Site and in connection with the services must not be false, inaccurate, misleading, abusive defamatory, offensive, misleading, misrepresentative or in breach of any intellectual property rights or any other rights whether belonging to us or a third party.

You agree not to use our Site or services in connection with illegal purposes.

Your information must not contain any computer viruses, macro viruses, trojan horses, worms or anything else designed to interfere with or that might reasonably interfere with use of the Site and the services.

You accept that we may edit, alter, amend or delete any part of your information that we believe is in breach of our policy.


We own the intellectual property rights in relation to all information contained on the Site (including but not limited to registered and unregistered design rights, copyright, moral rights, know-how, technology, trade secrets and the registered trade marks). Any unauthorised reproduction or copying of our intellectual property constitutes a breach.  

To the extent (if any) you own any intellectual property in connection with the Site or the services you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally in consideration of your use of the Site, assign all such rights with full title guarantee to the full duration possible in law.

You hereby grant to us a royalty free perpetual licence to use your information and any intellectual property rights therein in connection with the Site and the services. In addition you waive all moral rights in relation to any copyright.


This privacy policy applies to the free trial service, please note that if and when you register for the full services of the Site additional terms and conditions shall apply.  You will be notified of these at the relevant time.

The Site and the Services are available on an “as is” and “as available” basis and we make no warranties or representations, whether express or implied, in relation to the Site and/or the services including but not limited to accuracy, implied warranties or conditions of completeness and fitness for a particular purpose.

We make no warranty that the Site or the services will be suitable for your requirements or that the Site will be interrupted, timely, secure or error free.  Use of this Site and service is entirely at your discretion and risk.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site and/or service (whether temporarily or permanently) with or without notice without any liability to you or any third party.

In addition we reserve the right to suspend or discontinue this service to individual users, as it sees fit.

Nothing in this policy shall create or be deemed to create any joint venture, principal agent or partnership relationship between the parties and neither party shall hold itself out or imply any such relationship in connection with the other.

You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless against any and all expenses, damages and losses incurred by us in connection with any claims (actual or threatened), of any kind arising from the provision of your information or from your use of the Site or activities in connection with the Services.

You agree that you take full responsibility for and shall be liable for any claims, necessary remedial works, refunds, compensation or other issues arising in connection with trade jobs that you may undertake pursuant to using the Site and services.

We are not responsible and cannot be held liable for any false information, inaccuracies, misrepresentations, defamatory language, libellous statements or fraudulent activities in connection with the Site or services that are outside of our control editorially or otherwise.

You agree that, other than for death and personal injury arising directly from our negligence, we shall not be liable in contract, tort, negligence, statutory duty or otherwise

We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy in the future, we will update you in relation to such changes but please check back from time to time.
