Trade Member User Agreement

Welcome to SimpleZebra. This Trade Member User Agreement constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and SimpleZebra and should be read in conjunction with our privacy policy and General Terms and Conditions. Please note that some of our services and tools may have additional terms or varied terms that Trade Members will need to abide by.

Please note that Trade Members may not use our Site and Services if:

  • they are under the age of 18;
  • they do not have full capacity to enter into legally binding contracts; and/or
  • membership has been suspended/terminated by us.  

SimpleZebra Service

Trade Members are entitled to review and respond to Jobs posted by Customer Members on the Site subject to payment of their respective Subscription Fee in accordance with the Payment Terms set out below.

SimpleZebra makes no warranty or guarantee in relation to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by any Customer Member.

We reserve the right to limit your activities on our Site.  We reserve the right to refuse to post, delete, remove or edit any comments made on the Site by you that we in our sole opinion believe to be offensive, false, misleading, inaccurate or otherwise unsuitable for posting on the Site or breach our contents standards.

Obligations

If you are registering to use the Site on behalf of a trading entity you represent that you have authority to legally bind that entity.

By registering as a Trade Member you must ensure that you, your organisation, employees or sub-contractors are suitably trained and experienced trade professionals and hold all necessary qualifications and certifications required by law or the governing body of the relevant trade industry.

You agree to only apply to carry out Jobs which you are suitably qualified to perform and that fall within your remit of experience and expertise.

It is the sole responsibility of a Customer Member to provide a full and accurate description of any Job and we do not make any checks to ensure these are correct or reflect the actual work required.

When you sign up as a registered Trade Member, you will be asked to enter a username and password you can then use to access your account and log on to areas of the Site which are reserved for Trade Members only. You accept that it is your sole responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and that you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. SimpleZebra is unable to check the identity of people using the Trade or Customer Member areas and will not in any way be liable where your password is used by someone else. You should make sure that you are the only person using your username and password. You agree to notify SimpleZebra immediately of any unauthorised use of your account and any other breach of security as soon as you become aware of it.

Disputes

SimpleZebra is purely an introductory Site connecting Trade Members and Customer Members.  We make no warranty regarding any services obtained, work carried out, or goods purchased as a result of an introduction made via or in connection with the Site.  If you have a dispute with another Customer or Trade Member in relation to the Site, the Jobs or any associated services, then you must address the dispute directly to the respective Customer or Trade Member and update SimpleZebra of the outcome of any such dispute.

If you object to a Review posted by a Customer Member please contact us at trader@simplezebra.com and we will investigate any such Review.  Any decision we take in respect of such an objection shall be final and binding.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes, in a way that does not improperly infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Site by any third party.

If you do not accept these terms in full then you do not have permission to access the content of the Site and you should stop using the Site immediately.

Payment Terms

In consideration of the provision of the Services by SimpleZebra, you shall pay the Subscription Fee in advance using the electronic payment method available on the Site. The Subscription Fee may be paid monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually.  If you elect to pay the Subscription Fee monthly or quarterly you are deemed to agree to pay the Subscription Fee on such a monthly or quarterly basis continuously until cancelled by you.  You may cancel such continuous payments at any time by giving a minimum of 14 days notice to us in writing or via email to trader@simplezebra.com. Cancellation will take effect at the next payment date following the end of the notice period.  If you elect to pay the Subscription Fee bi-annually or annually you shall make a one off payment in respect of such period.  We shall then attempt to contact you prior to the expiry of your Trade Membership in order to renew your membership.

The Subscription Fee is not refundable in full or part for any reason.  Without prejudice to any other right or remedy that we may have, if you fail to pay the Subscription Fee we may terminate this agreement and access to the Site.  You acknowledge that SimpleZebra may review and increase the Subscription Fee at any time provided that such increases will take effect at your next payment date.

Time for payment of the Subscription Fee shall be of the essence of this agreement.
